Emiko's career began in Japan, where she trained and rose to managing a salon in Tokyo. She brought that experience to Hawaii, working in Waikiki before opening Salon Emiko, her own business, in 2002.
What she loves most is the transformation, the moment a client sees their reflection and lights up. For Emiko, hair care is a deeply personal service rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to feel confident and beautiful. With a rich career spanning from the salons of Tokyo to the heart of Honolulu, she has built the seasoned skills and adaptability to perfectly deliver the look you have in mind.
She also specializes in bridal hair and makeup and is a certified Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) artist, the careful technique that restores the look of fuller hair.
